How to scan smaller PDFs on Canon

1. Select the destination of scan, click ok.
2. Click the PDF (OCR) button on the right hand side of the screen.
3. Uncheck "OCR"; Check "Compact." Click ok. 
4. Scan

Note: This may cause scans to be black and white, but not always. Scanning on the Canon this way allows you to create PDFs that are easier to fax.
