General Mail Machine Information

• To go back, hit the  arrow key
• To clear, hit C
• For quick rates, select "Memory" and then select the number that corresponds with the type of mail you are sending. 
  • Weigh the mail
  • Send it through (face up)
  • → To do this manually: use menu → rate select → select the desired rate
• The scale can only weight objects under five pounds. If it is over five pounds, the package must be weighed at the post office.
• Labels print on the bottom half. Insert the label with the sticker side facing you (to the right of the mail machine). 
• The blue sheet (located on the back left of the counter behind the mail machine) will help you measure. If a piece of mail is thicker than the box indicated on the blue sheet, you will need to use the parcel rate. 
• Discs are parcel rate mail. 
• For mail larger than the parcel rate → use the USPS tracking sticker.
