How to select a rate for your mail

To select a preset rate (most common)

1. To select a rate either: 
   1. Press 
   2. Or, press  and type "4" OR select "Rate Selection" 
2. The Rate Selection screen will be displayed. 
   1. From this screen, you can:
      1. Press one of the rate buttons 1 - 9 (or type the number) to select the rate.
      2. Press "Other Selections" then "Rate History" to select a recently selected rate.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen and once you have chosen the rate and services, press "OK" to validate your selection. 

To manually select a rate: 

1. From the home screen, type directly the first figure of the amount using the keyboard. 
   1. The Manual Amount screen will appear
2. Complete the amount
3. Press "OK".
   1. The amount is displayed in the Postage area of the home screen and the Weighing type zone shows the No weight source icon.
